Why we 'borrow' your original Ercol cushions
Over the 24 years that we have been making replacement cushions for Ercol furniture, we have of course supplied cushions for many of the 200+ models that Ercol have made since 1920.

I had bought the chairs on Ebay, so they had no cushions and we didn’t have a template for making any. I found Bristol upholstery through an Internet search with Google, and it seemed the answer to my problem. There was a huge range of fabric and you had supplied swatches, so we had some idea of what we wanted. Bristol Upholstery’s specialist knowledge and expertise with Ercol chairs was reassuring. We are delighted with the result. The cushions are a good fit, perfect colour and very comfortable. Our experience is that we have seen cushions from apparently identical models but where there have existed subtle variations.
As an example, we have SIX different templates just for the ubiqutous Windsor Dining Chair! This is because we have found that the seat shapes vary slightly and the length and/or position of the straps can vary slightly between what at first glance may look like identical models of the same Windsor chair.
As a result, by borrowing an example of your particular cushions, there is no doubt as to the exact specification of what we need to create for you.

If, having discussed all the options with you and posted you fabric sample swatches for you to choose from, you decide to place an order with us, we would discuss with you timescales as to when you would like the work done.
We would take a 1/3 Deposit when you place your order, and we do not ask you to pay anything further until your order is complete and ready to despatch to you.
We will then send you our specially made large, strong packaging bag and parcel tape. We would have already discussed with you which items from your Ercol furniture that we need to borrow, so it is simply just a case of packing those items into our packaging.
We then arrange for our courier to call at your home and collect the parcel and bring it safely to us in Bristol. There is NO additional charge for using our Cushion Collection Service.
When completed, we would carefully and securely package up your new cushions and return them to your home by courier.
All you have to do is put the cushions in place on your Ercol furniture and step back and admire the transformation!
